Ingredients You Will Need To Make These Peach White Wine Slushies

  • White Wine: Use your favorite bottle of white wine. Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio are great options. They are both full-flavored, crisp, dry, and pair perfectly with peaches.
  • Frozen Peach Slices: If you do not have frozen peaches, you can freeze fresh peach slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place them in the freezer for about 3 hours. We used white peaches to make this slushie. (You can use either white or yellow peaches according to your preferences.)
  • Honey: The honey adds the perfect amount of sweetness and marries the flavors. Feel free to omit the honey or use agave syrup, or simple syrup.

How To Freeze Fresh Peaches:

  1. Wash the peaches to remove any dirt or debris. Then, pat them dry.
  2. Cut the peaches into small slices. (you can leave them unpeeled or remove the skin if you like) About 8-10 slices per peach. Place the peaches in a lemon water bath while slices to prevent the peaches from browning.
  3. Once all the peaches are cut, lay the peaches on a parchment-lined baking sheet and pat them dry. Leave them on the baking sheet or transfer them into a freezer-safe container.
  4. Transfer the peach slices into the freezer. Freeze for 4 hours, or until frozen.
  5. Use the frozen peaches as desired. Or, transfer the frozen peaches into a freezer-safe bag. Squeeze out as much air as possible and label the bag with the date. The peaches will last in the freezer for up to 6 months (check occasionally for freezer burn and throw away if necessary)

How To Make Wine Slushies In A Blender

  1. Place the frozen peaches, wine, and honey into a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. If you would like the drink to be a thinner consistency, add more wine. If you would like the drink to be thicker, add more frozen fruit. Blend to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into glasses and top with fresh peach slices. Enjoy!

What is the perfect slushy consistency?

The perfect slushy consistency is slightly thick but can be easily sipped through a straw. To avoid watery slushies, do not over-blend or add too much liquid. If you want to thicken the slushie, add more frozen fruit and blend to reach your desired consistency.

What are wine slushies made of?

Wine slushies are a refreshing blend of wine, frozen fruit, and sweetener. Some people add ice to their slushie, but we recommend skipping the ice as it can water down your drink. Instead, if you need to thicken your slushie, use more frozen fruit.

How to customize your white wine slushie:

This wine slushie recipe is easily customizable. Alter the ingredients as you like to create the perfect drink for your taste.

  • Use the white wine of your choice: Try Moscato! It is a sweeter wine with peaches, nectarines, and citrus notes. Chardonnay is also a great option. Its buttery, vanilla flavor will taste divine when paired with sweet peaches!
  • Try different frozen fruits: Add frozen raspberries for a refreshing tart flavor to the drink. Or make one batch with peaches, pineapple, and mango, and the other with raspberries. Layer the mixture for a colorful, refreshing drink.
  • Skip the sweetener: The honey blends all the flavors perfectly! You can also use agave syrup to keep this drink vegan. OR skip the sweetener altogether. The fruit adds enough sweetener on its own so the slushie will be just as satisfying without it.
  • Garnish to make it fancy: Adding slices of fresh peaches on top is a simple touch that elevates the appearance of the drink. I also like to add a spoonful of passionfruit and a piece of mint.
