If you were ever wondering if you can grill a beyond burger, the answer is YES, and it is delish! Here are a few tips for grilling beyond meat:

  1. Make sure to thaw the beyond burger meat before grilling. Cooking the meat from frozen will not yield desirable results.
  2. Season the patties before cooking. Seasoning the burgers is the key to enhancing their delicious flavor!
  3. Make sure to preheat the grill first before adding the patties to the grill. You’ll want to preheat the grill to 400-450°F.

Here Is What You Will Need:

  • Beyond Burger Patties: Make sure to thaw the burger patties first
  • Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, Smoked Paprika, Garlic, and Onion Powder
  • Pineapple: You can use fresh pineapple and cut it into slices or use canned pineapple rings. I prefer to cut a fresh pineapple into pineapple rings.
  • Burger Toppings: Lettuce, Tomatoes, Grilled Onion, Jalapenos. Use your favorite burger toppings! You can even grill up some mushrooms and add them on top of your burger! (Or use portobello mushrooms as buns for a fun low-carb option!)

How To Grill Beyond Burgers

  1. Preheat the grill to 400-450°F.
  2. Season the Beyond Meat® Burger with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic, and onion powder. (I like to place the beyond burgers in a large bowl, mix the beyond burgers and seasoning together, then reform the patties.)
  3. Lightly oil the grill grates and set the flame to medium-high. Place the Beyond Burgers on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. The internal temperature of the beyond burger should read 165°F when it is fully cooked. If you like a little char on your burger, cook it for slightly longer.
  4. Assemble the burger with your favorite toppings, and enjoy!

I like to add mustard for a delicious tangy flavor that ties everything together!

Grilled Pineapple Rings

Grilling the pineapple rings is super easy and can be done as the burger is cooking. If you are using fresh pineapple, simply cut the skin off of the pineapple, then slice it crosswise into 3/4″ dials/rings. You can leave the core or remove it.

If you want to spice up the pineapple, season the slices with coconut sugar (or brown sugar) and {vegan} butter. Grill the pineapple for 3-4 minutes on each side.
