What You Need To Make This Spinach Artichoke Pizza Recipe
- Pizza Crust: You can make your pizza crust from scratch or use premade pizza crust! I use Banza Gluten-Free Chickpea Pizza Crust —it’s gluten-free, grain-free, and vegan!. (If you want to try making pizza crust from scratch, try my pizza dough recipes where I share how to make Cauliflower Crust 2 Ways Recipe!)
- Alfredo Sauce: The alfredo provides a saucy, creamy base. You can also use pesto alfredo even more added flavor!
- Cheese: You’ll need freshly shredded parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- Frozen Spinach, thawed: You can use thawed frozen spinach or you can use fresh spinach and sauté it for about 2-3 minutes before adding it to the pizza. If using thawed frozen spinach, use a paper towel or clean towel to squeeze out any excess liquid.
- Marinated Artichokes: One can of marinated artichokes works perfectly for this recipe. Make sure to drain the artichokes before adding them to the pizza. (No one likes soggy pizza!)
- Seasonings: Italian Seasoning, Red Pepper Flakes, Minced Garlic, Black Pepper, and Sea Salt.
Want To Make This Spinach Artichoke Pizza Vegan? Try This:
Instead of using alfredo sauce, use vegan cashew cream sauce or vegan ricotta, and swap the mozzarella cheese for vegan cheese (Violife has excellent options). With those easy swaps, you’ll have a delicious vegan, dairy-free pizza! What Kind Of Gluten-Free Pizza Dough To Use
Banza’s Gluten-Free Chickpea crust is a great premade pizza crust option. Instead of being made with regular flour, it is made with chickpea flour. It is gluten-free, grain-free, and vegan.
