This Tropical Papaya Detox Smoothie is made with ripe, juicy papaya and blended with frozen mango, pineapple, coconut shavings, and turmeric powder. This delicious antioxidant-rich smoothie is vegan and naturally gluten-free!
1.5cupsNon-Dairy Milk of Choice, plus more as needed(I like to use Coconut Milk or Oat Milk)
1/2Large Papaya, cut into cubes(about 2 1/4 cups)
1.5cupsFrozen Mango
1cupFrozen Pineapple
2tbspUnsweetened Coconut Shavingsplus more as desired
2Medjool Dates, pits removed (or 1 tbsp maple syrup/agave) optional
1/2tspGround Turmeric, optional
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
If your smoothie is thicker than you’d like, add more non-dairy milk. If you would like your smoothie thicker, add more frozen fruit or ice and blend until you reach your desired consistency.
