- 3 cups Water
- 1 tsp Dried Peppermint Leaves
- 1 tsp Fenugreek can sub with fennel seeds, lightly crushed
- 1 tsp Dried Lemon Balm Leaves
- ½ Lemon Slice
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 tsp Honey optional
Optional Add-ins
- 1 inch Fresh Ginger, sliced
- 1 inch Fresh Turmeric, sliced
Add water, fenugreek, peppermint, and lemon balm leaves in a large pot, cover the lid, bring to a boil then remove from the heat.
Add remaining ingredients (except sweetener). Let sit covered for 5-10 minutes.
Strain and add sweetener. Pour into a glass or mug. Garnish with fresh lemon or orange slices and mint. Enjoy!
Boiling Water First Option
Bring a saucepan of water to a boil.
Add all the ingredients (except the sweetener) to a heat-safe pitcher. Pour the water onto the ingredients. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes.
Strain and add sweetener. Pour into a glass or mug. Garnish with fresh orange slices and mint. Enjoy
