In a tea kettle or saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Open the can of lychee and remove about 6-7 lychees from the can and set aside. Pour the remaining lychee and lychee syrup into a blender and blend until pureed.
Pour the blended lychees into a pitcher. Feel free to strain if you do not want bits of lychee in your drink.
Add the mint, lemon, reserved lychee, and tea bags to the pitcher. Pour hot water over the ingredients and let it steep for 3-5 minutes. Adjust the steeping time based on your preference for tea strength.
Remove the tea bags from the pitcher and give the mixture a stir. Allow the lychee tea to cool down for a few minutes. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator to chill further. You can also add ice cubes directly to the tea to speed up the chilling process.
Once the tea is cold, serve it over ice cubes. Garnish (optional): If desired, you can garnish your lychee tea with fresh lychee slices and mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness.
