Make Vegan Chipotle Crema with this easy 6 ingredient recipe! Simply blend the ingredients together and this chipotle cream is ready in less than 5 minutes.
Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Pour the boiled water over a bowl of raw cashews and soak for 20-25 minutes. After soaking, drain the cashews and discard the water.
Add the cashews to a high-powered blender along with the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Taste and adjust: add more adobo sauce to make it a bit spicer, add a splash of almond milk or water to thin out the sauce, add more maple syrup or agave to make it less spicy.

If you would like to make the sauce spicer, add another chipotle pepper or more adobo sauce (from the can).
