Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb Ripe Cantaloupe (about 4.5 cups cantaloupe cut into cubes)
  • 4 cups Cold Water
  • 1/4 cup Honey, plus more to taste (can sub with agave syrup)

Instructions

  • Remove the skin and seeds from the cantaloupe. Then, slice the flesh into chunks.
  • Add the sliced cantaloupe, honey, and water (and lime juice if adding) to the blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Place a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth over a bowl or pitcher. Strain the pulp from the mixture to get a clear juice. (Feel free to leave the pulp if you like. It is full of fiber and nutrients.)
  • Serve in a glass with ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint. Enjoy!

Notes

Tips For Making The Best Cantaloupe Juice

  • Store your ripe cantaloupe in the fridge until you are ready to make your juice.
  • Use cold water, especially if you want to enjoy the cantaloupe juice immediately after making it. (The juice tastes best when it is cold)
  • Use a spoon to press any juice from the pulp through the strainer, or squeeze the cheesecloth tightly to remove any liquid. This liquid is gold and you do not want any to go to waste. :)
  • Replace cantaloupe with honeydew for an equally refreshing muskmelon juice.

Want To Make Cantaloupe Agua Fresca?

Simply add lime juice. Add the juice of one lime to the ingredients before blending. The result is a delicious melon agua fresca! Serve with ice cubes and mint for a tasty drink.

Serving and Storage Instructions

This cantaloupe juice is best enjoyed immediately after making it and served with ice or after it has chilled in the fridge for a few hours. Store the cantaloupe juice in an airtight mason jar or pitcher with a lid and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
