Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon Fillets (5-8 ounces each)
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Aminos (or Soy Sauce)
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder, plus more to taste)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Red Crushed Pepper, optional

Instructions

  • Combine the coconut amino, honey, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Pour half of the sauce over the salmon fillets and season with salt, pepper, and red crushed peppers. If time permits, let the salmon marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  • Line your air fryer basket with foil. This helps for an easier clean-up later. Spray with oil to prevent the salmon from sticking.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 3 minutes.
  • Baste the salmon with the remaining sauce.
Place the salmon in the air fryer (skin side down). Air fry for 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon. The salmon is done when it has a caramelized crust, easily flakes and falls apart with a fork. (Salmon Internal temp with an instant thermometer should read 145F when it is fully cooked)
  • Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!

How To Store Leftover Salmon

Store any leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The sooner you eat it, the better!

How To Reheat Salmon In The Air Fryer

Reheating salmon in the air fryer is simple! Start by placing the salmon in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 360 degrees F and reheat the salmon for 3-5 minutes. This is the best way to reheat salmon or any fish without drying it out!

Salmon + Asparagus

This salmon pairs perfectly with asparagus and you can cook it alongside the salmon in the air fryer. Asparagus only takes 8 minutes to cook in the air fryer. Season the asparagus with a little salt, pepper, and olive oil. Be sure to watch the time and add the asparagus next to the salmon when there are 8 minutes left.

No Air Fryer? No Problem! You Can Make This Honey Garlic Salmon In The Oven!

Turn the oven to the highest broil setting. Place the marinated salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet tray. Broil the salmon on high for 7-9 minutes, or until the top is caramelized and the salmon is opaque and flaky.
