Ingredients

Brown Sugar Simple Syrup

  • 2.5 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso

  • 2-3 Shots of Espresso* (or very strong coffee)
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Brown Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Oat milk
  • Ice

Instructions

How To Make Brown Sugar Simple Syrup

  • Over medium-low heat, combine the brown sugar and water into a small saucepan. Whisk and bring the mixture to a simmer until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Remove from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract. Let the mixture cool and thicken before using. Store any extra in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

How To Make An Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso

  • Add the espresso (or coffee), cinnamon, brown simply syrup, and cinnamon into a mason jar or shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake the drink until it is cold, frothy, and well mixed, about 30 seconds.
  • Pour over the shaken espresso over ice and top with oat milk. Stir to combine and Enjoy!

Notes

Blonde Espresso is what is typically used for this Starbucks Shaken Espresso Drink. 
You can store the brown sugar simple syrup in the fridge in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks.
