Ingredients

  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Dried Peppermint Leaves
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek can sub with fennel seeds, lightly crushed
  • 1 tsp Dried Lemon Balm Leaves
  • ½ Lemon Slice
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 tsp Honey optional

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger, sliced
  • 1 inch Fresh Turmeric, sliced

Instructions

  • Add water, fenugreek, peppermint, and lemon balm leaves in a large pot, cover the lid, bring to a boil then remove from the heat.
  • Add remaining ingredients (except sweetener). Let sit covered for 5-10 minutes.
  • Strain and add sweetener. Pour into a glass or mug. Garnish with fresh lemon or orange slices and mint. Enjoy!

Boiling Water First Option

  • Bring a saucepan of water to a boil.
  • Add all the ingredients (except the sweetener) to a heat-safe pitcher. Pour the water onto the ingredients. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes.
  • Strain and add sweetener. Pour into a glass or mug. Garnish with fresh orange slices and mint. Enjoy
