Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Bison
  • 1/4 cup Bell Pepper of Choice, finely chopped
  • 1/2 Small Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt plus more to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper plus more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Red Crushed Pepper, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or aluminum foil.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix until well-incorporated.
  • Form 1 1/2 inch meatballs (or about two tablespoons) and place onto a prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all the meat is used.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, turning meatballs over halfway through.
  • Enjoy with your favorite sauce or as is!

To Serve With Marinara Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, warm your favorite marinara sauce and season to taste. Once the sauce is warm, nuzzle in meatballs and let simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Yes, you can most certainly make these meatballs in the air fryer. Simply, cook the meatballs at 370°F for 13 minutes. Work in batches if needed to ensure the meatballs are not overcrowded in the air fryer.
